Far or near, long ago or recently, in a vast and beautiful Universe, among hundreds of thousands of shining stars, there lived a Singing Planet. Yes, yes! A singing one indeed! It sang and sang: early in the morning and late at night; sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly; sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly; sometimes joyfully, sometimes a little sadly.
(A musical excerpt sounds: P.I. Tchaikovsky. The Seasons. January. "By the Fireplace")
But Music was constantly born in the depths of its extraordinary singing Soul! And all the Planets and Stars—neighbors of the Singing Planet—listened to this Music, and their Souls were filled with magical Music.
For this Music to sound, the Singing Planet produced many different sounds and they, weaving together in a peculiar way, merged with each other and Music was born…
(A musical excerpt sounds: Saint-Saëns "Carnival of the Animals," "Aquarium".)
The Singing Planet knew that not all planets could sing, so to distant planets, which its Music could not reach, it sent notes, from which sounds were born.
Sounds appeared when notes were either played on musical instruments or sung with the voice. And from many different sounds, Music was created.
So, one day, a little note La flew to the distant planet "Earth." The planet "Earth" was very large, beautiful and kind. From space it looked blue, and up close it was green and joyfully multicolored.
La-la-la! — sang the note La, — I like it here very much!
The note La knew that she was not alone on this kind planet. Before departing, the Singing Planet had told the note La that many of her brothers and sisters, notes: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol and Si, had already been sent to planet Earth long ago. And that when the note La found them, they would all sound together and create wonderful Music for the people who live on this remarkable planet.
And so, the note La walked, cheerfully singing a joyful song. The pure sounds of this song rang out, shimmered and played like sun rays in the warm rays of the bright Sun.
(An excerpt from the song sounds: "If for a long, long time" from the film "Little Red Riding Hood".)
At the same time as the song, the note La thought about how to find her brothers and sisters?
"I will look for Music," decided the note La, "and it will lead me to the house where my brothers and sisters live!"
She walked and walked, and then, at the edge of the forest, a small wooden house with a red roof and a very beautiful fragrant flower garden under the windows appeared. A quiet melody could be heard from the windows of the house. The note La approached closer and peeked into the window.
A young woman with long fair hair held a little boy in her arms and quietly sang:
"Hush-a-bye, hush-a-bye,
Sleep, my little son…"
An excerpt from a lullaby sounds…
The note La listened and bathed in the sounds of the lullaby. I'll tell you a secret: she was not an ordinary note, but a little magical one, for she was born on the magical Singing Planet.
Therefore, when the note La listened to any Music, she could not only hear and feel, but also see how Music affects those who listen to it.
She saw how Music touched certain strings of the Soul of those who listened to it and from this completely magical things began to happen: in this very Soul, colorful waves began to swim, play, move quickly and slowly, which were born with the help of Music.
The Singing Planet called these colorful waves in an adult and intelligent way—"primary matters," but the note La liked to call them "wave-ies," because she herself was still so small!
The note La knew that these "wave-ies" acted very strongly on the Soul of those listening to Music. The same Music affects different people differently, because there are no identical people—people are old and young, tired, healthy and sick, smart and not very, kind and not very.
And Music can fill their Souls with joy, or it can sadden them greatly. With the help of Music, you can make someone experience great tenderness, or you can make them feel great anger.
You can transport a person's Soul to a far, far Cosmos, or you can completely destroy the future of that Soul…
That is why some bad forces, who learned how to control people with the help of Music, began to use it for their evil purposes.
The note La, although still small, already knew about these possibilities of Music and always tried to be where bright, high and pure Music sounded.
Therefore, when she stood under the window and listened to the lullaby, she saw how the kind melody of the mother's song made blue, green, white "wave-ies" flow from one part of the baby's Soul to another, which, moreover, bathed in a wonderful silvery haze!
And the baby's Soul was filled with calmness, joy, bright warmth and drowsiness. The note La felt that she herself was ready to fall asleep, so warm and cozy it became in her Soul, but she needed to go further and look for her brothers and sisters.
She sighed with regret and walked away from the house.
(An excerpt from the song sounds: "About the Scarlet Flower" from the animated film "The Silk Brush". Verse and immediately remove the sound, as the chorus will be used later.)
Much or little time passed when the note La saw a small building with a sign that read "Kindergarten."
"I'll go and look inside," thought the note La, "maybe someone will tell me where to look for my brothers and sisters."
She entered the building and almost immediately heard children's voices singing a cheerful song: "La-la-la-la-la-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam…"
(An excerpt from the song sounds: "About the Scarlet Flower" from the animated film "The Silk Brush", vocalize after the chorus).
"This is a song about me!" thought the note La, "I should go closer."
She opened the door and peeked into the room where the children were singing. It was clear that they really enjoyed the song and sang it with joy.
The note La, with her "magical" vision, saw how the children's Souls shimmered while singing, sparkled with white, yellow, pink, turquoise "wave-ies"!
The Soul of the note La also sparkled and joyfully glittered.
"Perhaps I won't bother them," decided the note La, "I'll ask about my brothers and sisters somewhere else."
She quietly closed the door, left the kindergarten and walked on.
(A musical excerpt sounds: "If for a long, long time" from the film "Little Red Riding Hood", without words).
Much or little time passed as the note La walked and walked and became tired. Just as she thought it would be good to rest, a light breeze brought her the delicious smell of food.
And although the note La didn't eat pies and cutlets, she didn't mind refreshing herself with the smell of sweet donuts with apples and cinnamon, sprinkled with snow-white powdered sugar.
She approached the open doors of a building with the sign "Cafe" and went inside. Along with the various smells of different "goodies," the note La also heard the sounds of Music.
Sitting on the edge of a chair, she began to absorb the aromas of flower tea, rich sweet pretzels with poppy seeds, hot chocolate and much more.
But mixed with these aromas was a very unpleasant bitter smell of tobacco smoke and a pungent smell of wine. The note La looked around: people sat at tables. They ate, drank, talked, some of them smoked cigarettes.
The Music that the note La heard was different from what she had heard under the window of the house and in the kindergarten. This Music was very loud, harsh and noisy. Something monotonously and strongly beat in it, the same words in an incomprehensible language were almost not sung, but spoken.
(A musical excerpt sounds: any modern disharmonious music…)
The note La looked with her magical vision at the Souls of the people sitting in the cafe and saw that the "wave-ies" in their Souls were some kind of dirty dark color.
They churned and made people irritated, angry, curse. To somehow distract themselves from these feelings and emotions, people grabbed a cigarette or a bottle of wine, but this only made them worse.
Because because of tobacco and alcohol, their magical, invisible protection weakened, which everyone has, and the Soul began to be "bitten" by various unpleasant creatures that specifically waited for when a person would drink wine and the protection of their Soul would become thin, and in some places even with holes.
And then they would feast, "biting" his Soul, washing down with the emotions and feelings of the person. Because these creatures live only thanks to not very good emotions and feelings of people.
Ordinary people don't see these creatures, but if you look a little magically, like the note La, then these creatures become noticeable.
The note La looked at such a picture and understood that no one here would tell her about her brothers and sisters. And she didn't like these nasty creatures that circled around people.
And such Music that sounded in the cafe, her Soul couldn't bear at all. She even felt not very well and felt a little nauseous when she listened to how the sounds wove so ugly and such dirty and dark "wave-ies" churned in the Souls of people.
The note La quickly left the cafe, took a deep breath of fresh air, as if freeing herself from unpleasant pictures, and walked on. (A musical excerpt sounds: Tchaikovsky, "Children's Album," "March of the Wooden Soldiers")
Much or little she walked, but her attention was drawn to a bright sign glowing with many lights and a large crowd of people standing under this sign. "Night Club" - was written on it. From the half-open doors, the sounds of Music could be heard.
"Oh! This is probably where I'll find out about my brothers and sisters-notes! There are so many people here!" thought the note La.
Since Music sounds here, it means my brothers and sisters have already been here, and maybe they told someone where they are heading.
She inconspicuously slipped past the security guard, so that he didn't even have time to blink. Something just sang in his ear: "La-la-la!" and he thought it was a light breeze.
The note La joyfully flew into the hall and was simply stunned by what she saw there: clouds of acrid suffocating cigarette smoke filled the large dark hall from floor to ceiling.
The darkness was densely pierced by multicolored laser beams that, hitting the eyes, momentarily blinded. A huge number of drunk people moved to the rhythm of Music.
But what was used here as Music was either the clang and screech of metal, or the screams and cries of performers, or the prolonged mournful howling of soloists.
And all this was accompanied by either slow and dull, or sonorous and frequent, stupefying rhythm, rhythm, rhythm…
(A musical excerpt sounds: any from the "techno" direction.)
The creatures that the note La had seen before in the cafe were here, in the club, in huge quantities clinging to people. But the most terrible thing that the note La saw with her magical vision was that almost all people were like not alive. They walked, drank, talked, even danced, but those dark and dirty "wave-ies," born by such low Music in their Soul, did their dirty work.
And the note La also noticed that besides those creatures that feed on feelings and emotions, some kind of "strings" were stretched to people, and when these "strings" began to move, people began to behave not as they wanted, but as the "strings" made them.
The note La decided to see where these "strings" led. She followed these "strings" with her magical gaze and was simply shocked when she saw some kind of terrible monster to which these "strings" converged.
The note La was not one of the timid notes and continued to examine this scary creature. Especially since it had no time for her and didn't notice the little note La at all.
Through these "strings" from people to this monster flowed their life force, and from it to people came various commands and orders, which the "strings" conveyed to people.
Some of them were slightly "tied" by these "strings," and some were entangled in several layers. The "strings" jerked and jerked to the rhythm of stupefying sounds, and people weakened and weakened, losing their Reason and Will and became living robots, executing someone else's commands.
"What is happening here?!" thought the note La indignantly. "I need to quickly find my brothers and sisters and hurry to fill this beautiful and kind planet with such Music that all people would be freed from evil spells and become joyful and free, and all sorts of monsters and scary things couldn't control people anymore, because they themselves wouldn't be able to withstand bright, pure and high Music. They would burst and scatter into many pieces and never be able to come together again.."
The note La quickly left the night club and hurried away.
(A musical excerpt sounds: Tchaikovsky, "Children's Album," "Baba Yaga".)
After some time, her feet carried her to a tall—very tall snow-white building with majestic columns.
The note La decisively entered it, not knowing what kind of building it was, crossed a spacious beautiful hall with a huge sparkling crystal chandelier under the ceiling, walked down a long bright corridor, threw open the high doors with gilded handles and was literally swept off her feet and spun around by a whirlwind of shining sounds!
The sounds were painfully familiar and dear! Bright and pure, like drops of a sparkling silver waterfall against the background of a huge, shimmering with all colors, huge rainbow!
The note La listened and couldn't get enough. Her Soul was filled with such bright and pure "wave-ies," which were different, all colors of the rainbow, with all shades of blue, pink, white, yellow, emerald colors, with silvery and golden "swirls" and bright flashes!
It seemed to the note La that she was soaring in the air along with these magical sounds and she understood that she had finally found everyone she had been looking for so long.
(A musical excerpt sounds. Tchaikovsky, "Waltz of the Flowers" from the ballet "The Nutcracker" …)
The building that led our note La turned out to be a music theater and that evening a big concert was being held, where different Music was being performed.
The note La boldly approached the place where a group of people with different musical instruments sat. And in front of a person with a small stick in his hand lay many sheets of music, on which the note La saw all her brothers and sisters.
There were many—very many of them and they helped people with musical instruments extract different sounds from these instruments. And these sounds, rising higher and higher, wove patterns of such wonderful beauty that Music, flowing into the Souls of the people sitting in the hall, gave birth to bright light of Love, Joy, Creativity and Freedom!
"How wonderful," thought the note La, "now, all together, we will quickly help people save this wonderful planet Earth!"
(A musical excerpt sounds: Tchaikovsky, "Waltz of the Flowers" from the ballet "The Nutcracker" longer and louder).
