Warm spring sunshine warmed the bud and tickled it gently. The little leaf became very curious about what was happening outside. So he burst out of his cocoon, and he liked the outside so much that he decided never to return to his home again.
After the first spring rain, the young leaf felt that he had become even stronger and more beautiful, and little birds would land on the tree branch to look at him.
All summer long the tree leaf celebrated and played. During all this time, so many forest animals and birds passed by and flew past him, and he was very interested in meeting them all.
And our little leaf didn't notice how autumn had arrived, and the birds hurried to warm lands. The leaf began to turn yellow, but he tried with all his might to hold on to the branch. But one cold morning a strong wind blew and tore the leaf away.
With sadness, the yellow autumn leaf swirled above his native tree, and the wind carried him further. A flock of birds flew past and the little leaf wanted to fly south with them, but he had less and less strength. He landed on an old stump and saw that all the forest inhabitants were bustling about, storing supplies for the long winter. Even the fierce bear was preparing for hibernation.
But the leaf didn't want to spend all winter on the old stump, and as soon as the sun touched his surface with its first morning rays, the autumn breeze picked him up again and lifted him above the forest. He was very curious to see his native forest from above, and he saw all the forest dwellers. And the little leaf didn't want to leave his Homeland at all, the place where he was born.
And he asked the wind to set him back down on the ground. The breeze understood everything and gently lowered the traveler into the burrow with the little rabbits. During winter, our little leaf was never bored, because he became the favorite toy of the little rabbits.
