In a magical little village there lived a small puppy named Tuzik. He was cheerful and sociable, had many friends, but they found it uninteresting to play with such a small puppy and constantly ran away from him, hiding.
Tuzik kept pestering them with questions: why, where were they running to, but his friends always joked around, saying he was still too small. One day, hearing those same words again, the little dog felt hurt, cried, and decided to leave home forever.
Tuzik took a bag, packed his favorite toys, took a book from the shelf that he never parted with—these were his favorite fairy tales, he knew them all by heart—and went off into the world.
The puppy wandered around the countryside for a long time until one day he stumbled upon a village. Running past a beautiful building, Tuzik heard children's voices and became curious. He decided to pop in for a visit.
When the children saw the little puppy with a book in his paws, they ran up to him, started petting him and asking about the colorful book. The puppy was so happy that they were interested in him that he was ready to share all the knowledge he possessed.
The children, in turn, gave him a tour of the area. Tuzik understood he had nowhere else to go, so he decided to ask the children to let him stay with them. He really wanted attention and care.
From that time on, the children often visited the puppy, played with him, and he would take the book from his bag and tell them his favorite fairy tales.
