Once upon a time there lived a little tractor in the world, with big yellow eyes and thick long eyelashes. He loved to ride along the embankment in the morning, loved long autumn walks along rainy streets.
But he was very sad being alone, because in his city there was only one little tractor with big yellow eyes, and many big and small cars.
The big cars often teased the little tractor, saying:
You are so small, you cannot carry anything, because you have no cargo bed. We have a big cargo bed, we can carry anything, candies, chocolates, new toys.
And the little cars said this:
We are so miniature and elegant, we have such beautiful little mini-car children, we can drive very fast and make almost no noise. But you are so bulky and make so much noise when you drive!
The little tractor answered:
But I can drive through the muddiest puddle and through the deepest hole!
We don't need that, we are very comfortable driving on clean smooth asphalt and playing around!
The little car children answered and continued to tease the tractor.
And he felt hurt, but didn't show it, and just silently drove away to one of his favorite places — the autumn park and watched the stars all night until morning.
But suddenly winter came...
That night, many fluffy white flakes fell from the sky, and all the roads were covered with a beautiful snowy blanket. The little tractor happily drove through the snowdrifts, sweeping everything in his path, playing with snowflakes and catching them in his mouth.
But the cars were in no mood for fun. They simply got stuck in the middle of the roads and could not get home to their little mini-car children. They stood sadly up to their waists in snow and shivered from the cold.
And so, the little tractor was driving by, and the cars began to call him:
Help us get out of the snow trap, free us!
The little tractor was very kind and gladly began to help his brothers, forgetting the insults. He quickly began to sweep the snow from the roads and roadsides, brushing snowflakes off the frozen cars. And within a few minutes all the cars were freed and happily began to drive home to their families.
As they parted, they hugged the little tractor tightly and thanked him:
Thank you, little tractor, for freeing us from the snowdrifts, now we can go to our little mini-car children. If it weren't for you, we would have stood in the snowdrifts, rusted and no one would have pulled us out. Forgive us for hurting you, we won't do it again!
