Three little pigs sang cheerful songs, danced funny dances, and played various musical instruments. And so it went all summer long.
What delightful pig behaviour.
Said the Owl, flying over the clearing where they were having fun.
And when autumn came and the evenings began to get cold, one of the brothers named Grunter said:
Everyone in the world needs a home, people and animals alike, and so do we — little pigs.
Oh, not now. When it gets really cold, then we'll think about it. For now, let's play.
Replied Oink and Snort.
Did you hear that?!
The owl's voice rang out from the tree where she was watching the brothers.
A Wolf has appeared in our area, he's mean, hungry, and terrifying.
Oh, if you're scared of him,
Objected Oink and Snort.
Then stay in your hollow.
And they themselves sang out in a friendly pig squeal in two voices:
We're not afraid
Of the grey Wolf,

Who would have thought that the Owl's words about the wolf in the forest would come true. This news was on everyone's lips.
The piglets realised things were serious when they went to bed that night. It was quite cool outside.
And in the morning they woke up from the cold, and it became quite clear that the cold weather was approaching, and they needed to build a house. In it they could hide from the Wolf and keep warm during the harsh frosts.
Oink said:
I'll build a house from straw. It will be warm and soft, and there's so much of it everywhere, no need to go far for building materials, spend money and time on delivery. And we won't need to call dodgy builders.
And I'll build from branches and twigs. So it won't blow away in the wind.
Replied Snort.
As they said, so they did.
Meanwhile, their brother Grunter was building his house.
He was distinguished by his intelligence and resourcefulness, and knew how to balance play and work. Grunter made a stone foundation, brick walls, a red tile roof, and installed solar panels on it to generate electricity. After all, inside he wanted to equip the house with smart technology, and for that he needed a constant power supply.
And Snort and Oink continued to sing and dance:

And it's all done,
A house built from straw,
Three and four,
From branches too,
We can have fun again.
The Wolf heard their songs and shouted:
Who's making noise in the forest when the Wolf is tired and sleeping?
And when he saw two plump rosy-cheeked piglets, he squealed with delight:
Wow, what delicious little chubby ones! I could only dream of such! Would you look at that, what luck! To catch two pigs at once!
The piglets got scared and ran into Snort's straw house.
The Wolf approached their shelter, scratched behind his ear, and said in bewilderment:
What's this pile of straw? I'll easily destroy it! I just need to take a big breath and blow with all my might! Your flimsy straw shack will scatter to the winds.
And the Wolf blew. And the straw scattered to the winds. The house collapsed. And the piglets ran to the second house, which Oink had built. The Wolf jumped after them.
Oh, and what's this pathetic branch shelter? Ha-ha-ha! I'll break this one too, but I'll have to work a bit harder here, use some force.
And the Wolf began to shake Oink's house. The branches crumbled, the supports broke, and this flimsy little house also collapsed.
The piglets ran as fast as they could.
Ah, just look at these cheeky pigs! They're running away from me.
Howled the Wolf.
I'll catch them anyway!
And he grabbed them by their hind legs. The piglets ran on their front legs only. A huge pine tree appeared ahead.
Let's scatter in different directions.
Shouted Snort, remembering lessons from his school PE teacher.
And they bolted in different directions: Snort to the right, and Oink to the left. And the Wolf was left in the middle, and at full speed crashed into the pine tree.
The piglets' legs slipped from his enormous paws, and he hit his head on the pine trunk so hard that sparks flew from his eyes, and pine cones rained down on his head.
The brothers, gasping for breath, reached Grunter's house. He opened the door and let them in.
The piglets trembled with fear. Tears rolled down their snouts.
Calm down.
Said Grunter.
Everything will be fine! The Wolf won't be able to overcome my house. It's strong, the wind can't blow it away, force can't break it. And this is a lesson for you that you can sing, play, and dance if you have somewhere to run to! There!
Meanwhile, the Wolf ran around the house, tried to destroy it, but only broke all his claws and crumbled his teeth. So he left empty-handed.
And inside the house, Grunter decided to give his brothers a tour.
My house is very smart. It doesn't have a lock, but opens with a hoof print. It has motion sensors, a wireless mini-button for the light above the work surface in the kitchen, a cube with pre-programmed television channels, and a gas and smoke detector.
And in the bedroom, when I wake up and it's still dark outside, I say: "Good morning!", and the light turns on by itself from the sound of my voice.
When I leave the bathroom, the light turns off by itself from the closing door, and the ventilation turns on. And I also have a robot vacuum. It cleans not only the floor, but also the air of dust and allergenic particles.
